Research assistant in liquid biopsy development
About this role
Research Assistant In Liquid Biopsy Development
We are seeking a motivated individual to contribute to the development of methods for targeting extracellular vesicles for diagnostic purposes.
Our group has expertise in the analysis of extracellular vesicles. Since these are released by all cells and found in bodily fluids, they represent promising targets for the early diagnosis of disease, such as cancer.
We are looking for ambitious researchers to develop bioinformatic methods for the analysis of extracellular vesicles from bodily fluids and the molecular signatures of disease they carry.
The ideal candidate would be a motivated and team-oriented individual with strong English skills and a basic knowledge of extracellular biology. The research will involve laboratory and bioinformatic work including blood and biofluid handling, as well as various bioinformatic techniques.
The candidate must:
- Have completed an undergraduate degree in biology or basic medical training.
- Have laboratory experience in molecular biology.
- Have experience with RNA-sequencing data analysis including base and fusion mutation identification.
- The ability to understand and communicate in English so that they can work independently.
