About this role
Postdoc In Computational Neuroscience And Brain-like Ai
The objective of the research is to develop brain plausible neural network models of brain's cognitive and perceptual capabilities. In particular, you are expected to build and study cortex-inspired feed-forward and recurrent networks within the context of semi-supervised and unsupervised pattern recognition problems as well as decision making tasks.
Your duties will include reviewing relevant literature, designing and simulating neural network models, analyzing and interpreting results, and benchmarking brain-inspired architectures against conventional machine learning methods. You are also expected to actively participate in academic discussions with supervisors at KTH and to write scientific papers.
