Postdoctoral Fellow in Computational Biology
About this role
Wenbao Yu’s lab at Temple University’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine and Fox Chase Cancer Center is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral Fellows to join us in July 2026. The Yu lab’s work sits at the intersection of genomics, data science, and cancer biology, uncovering how cancer cells adapt, resist therapy, and metastasize.
What you’ll work on:
• Computational methodology development
• Single-cell and spatial omics data analysis and interpretation
• Cancer cell plasticity, cell–cell communication, transcriptional and epigenetic regulation
What you’ll bring:
• A PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, genomics, statistics, or related field
• Experience with bulk and single-cell genomic/epigenomic data analysis
• Proficiency in R or Python and HPC experience
• A solid publication record and collaborative mindset
• Prior experience in spatial omics or cancer biology is a plus
