Based at the Centre for Molecular Medicine (CMM), our group combines human wound models, molecular biology and single-cell and spatial omics to understand tissue repair. This position offers early-career researchers hands-on training in a collaborative, internationally connected environment. Your mission As a Research Assistant, you will provide experimental and practical support to a project investigating how genetic sex and hormonal environment influence human skin wound healing. You will work alongside researchers studying human skin and wound samples using molecular, cellular and spatial approaches. Training will be provided for unfamiliar techniques. Main responsibilities: - Process, prepare and document human skin and wound tissue samples - Assist with RNA extraction, gene expression assays, cell culture, immunostaining and microscopy, according to established protocols - Support sample preparation and quality control for single-cell and spatial transcriptomics experiments - Organize experimental data, maintain accurate laboratory records and contribute to preliminary analysis - Collaborate with team members, present progress in group meetings and support routine laboratory operations Your profile We are looking for a motivated, careful and collaborative early-career researcher with an interest in experimental biomedical research, human skin biology and tissue repair.
