Postdoctoral Position in Insect Neuroscience !

We are looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Neurophysics group at the Center for Mind/Brain Sciences (CIMeC), University of Trento, Rovereto (Italy). 

Responsibilities
The researcher will take a leading role in the TransFly project, which investigates how seasonal adaptation reshapes sensory processing and behaviour in the invasive fruit fly Drosophila suzukii. The project combines functional calcium imaging, behavioural experiments, transgenic Drosophila models, and computational data analysis in a highly interdisciplinary research environment.

Qualifications
We welcome applicants with a background in neuroscience, neurobiology, biotechnology, biophysics, or related disciplines. 
Experience in the following areas is particularly desirable:

• Advanced fluorescence microscopy
• Functional calcium imaging
• Drosophila genetics
• Behavioural neuroscience
• Quantitative data analysis and scientific programming
