Research Engineer in Quantum Computing for Computational Fluid Dynamics
About this role
Research Engineer in Quantum Computing for Computational Fluid Dynamics
We are recruiting a Research Engineer in Quantum Computing for Computational Fluid Dynamics for the Division of Computational Science and Technology. You will contribute to research on new computational methods for fluid dynamics, initially focusing on quantum-inspired techniques such as tensor networks and tensor-network-based machine learning. You will then investigate how these methods can be reformulated and implemented on quantum computing systems.
The work includes method development, software implementation, numerical experiments, and evaluation against established computational fluid dynamics approaches. Work on courses and other educational activities within the division may also be included.
