Built from OpenAlex, an open bibliographic database: for each research area we take the authors with the most papers since 2022 and keep those with an established track record. That usually picks out group leaders but not always (a clinician or a core-facility head can appear), people move institutions, and OpenAlex sometimes splits one person in two. It is a starting point, not a verdict on anyone. We collect no email addresses. To get in touch, use the lab's own page or the institution's profile.
