Summary
In this study, the region harboring the SNP rs2643219 was found to be a putative enhancer.ChIP-qPCR shown that the CEBPB can bind the region. So, ChIP-seq was carried out in colon epithelium-derived NCM460 cells to validate the binding of CEBPB to the genomic region and discover candidate loci interacting with the putative enhancer.
