Summary
To elucidate the potential neuroprotective mechanism of ginkgolides, experiments in seven in vitro cell models that mimic the pathological processes of ischaemic stroke confirmed the antiplatelet properties of ginkgolides and their potential antiapoptotic, anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective activities in the nervous system.
