FOXO-regulated Deaf1 controls muscle regeneration through autophagy

GSE237088 Mus musculus Genome binding/occupancy profiling by high throughput sequencing 4 samples Submitted 2024/05/15 Platform GPL23479
Summary
We performed RNAi screens to identify regulators of muscle regeneration. We identified Deaf1 and hypothesized that this transcription factor may regulate autophagy and in turn control myogenesis. We therefore performed chromatin-immunoprecipitation followed by next-generation sequencing (ChIP-seq) to identify Deaf1 downstream targets. The results suggest that Deaf1 binds to the promoters the multiple ATG genes, suppressing their transcription.
