Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for U251 control and hnRNPA2B1 knockdown cells

GSE240809 Homo sapiens Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 6 samples Submitted 2024/05/01 Platform GPL24676
Summary
Gliomas are the most common type of primary brain tumors, accounting for approximately 80% of all malignant brain tumors. The m6A RNA methylation process, mediated by various m6A regulatory genes, has been implicated in promoting the development and progression of tumors. However, the understanding of its involvement in glioma remains limited. Therefore, RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) was performed in U251 cells following hnRNPA2B1 knockdown, as it functions as an oncogene and is one of the m6A reader proteins.
