On the way to elucidate the effects of cannabidiol (CBD) on living organisms - assessment of changes in the global transcription profile of liver in mouse model

GSE261716 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 48 samples 2024/03/16 GPL24247
Summary
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a phytocannabinoid that has anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, antioxidant, anxiolytic, antipsychotic, and anticonvulsant effects. The metabolism of CBD occurs in the liver within a few hours after the dose is administered. This study aims to examine the effects of CBD on behavior, immune system activity, and stress levels, and to determine its impact on transcriptomic alterations in selected murine organs. (Study funded by the National Science Centre, Poland; project no. 2020/39/O/NZ9/00821)
