Association of hepatitis B virus genomes with active chromatin hubs challenges host replication fidelity, leading to DNA damage.

GSE261927 Homo sapiens Genome binding/occupancy profiling by high throughput sequencing 6 samples Submitted 2024/03/24 Platform GPL18573
Summary
We have developed a modified iteration of a viral chromosome conformation capture (V3C-seq) assay to degrade non-cccDNA to show that the HBV cccDNA localizes spatially with cellular sites of DNA damage.
