Summary
Aging is associated with profound changes in immune cell function. To investigate how aging impacts plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs), we profiled purified pDCs from healthy adult (20–40 years) and elderly (>65 years) human donors. Using bulk RNA-seq (GSE269411) and bulk ATAC-seq (GSE279911), we identified transcriptional and epigenetic changes that occur with age. These datasets provide a resource to explore age-associated alterations in pDC identity, gene regulation, and chromatin accessibility.
