Age-related TFEB Downregulation in Proximal Tubules Causes Systemic Metabolic Disorders with Occasional ApolipoproteinA4-related Amyloidosis

GSE270205 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 4 samples Submitted 2024/12/19 Platform GPL28457
Summary
We generated proximal tubular epithelial cell-specific Tfeb-deficient mice and bred them for up to 24 months and found that Tfeb deficiency in the proximal tubules causes metabolic disorders, which occasionally lead to apolipoproteinA4 (APOA4) amyloidosis, with age. To elucidate the mechanism of the metabolic disturbances, we performed scRNA-seq analyses of the kidneys.
