The role of CBLL1 (HAKAI) component of the RNA methyltransferase complex in basal and estrogen signaling in breast cancer cells (MCF-7)

GSE271326 Homo sapiens Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 12 samples 2025/11/30 GPL24676
Summary
CBLL1, also known as HAKAI, plays a dual role in the METTL3-containing RNA m6A methyltransferase complex and as a regulator of e-cadherin protein expression. RNA methylation is known to play diverse functions in the regulation of mRNA processing, splicing, translation and stability. In this study we used siRNA to deplete CBLL1 in the MCF-7 breast cancer cell line and determined the effect on basal and estrogen regulated transcription
