Transcriptomics profiling of singleton and twin placentas in the absence or presence of preeclampsia.

GSE272342 Homo sapiens Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 45 samples 2025/08/28 GPL16791
Summary
Twin pregnancies incur a higher risk for preeclampsia (PE) than singletons, but the pathogenesis might differ. To better understand this, we performed RNA sequencing on 32 individual dichorionic (D) and monochorionic (M) twin placental samples grouped by clinical PE diagnosis and 10 newly sequenced singleton (S) PE placentas.
