Summary
To investigate gene expression differences during the course of human adipocyte differentiation, we performed differentiation on Human Simpson-Golabi-Behmel syndrome (SGBS) preadipocyte cells following standard protocols (PMID: 20054179). Differentiation begins on day 0 by incubating cells in a serum-free differentiation medium (rosiglitazone, dexamethasone, methylisobuthylxantine, cortisol, transferrin, triiodotyronin, and human insulin). The medium is changed to cortisol, transferrin, triiodotyronin, and human insulin after 4 days.
