Identification and validation of KIF20A for predicting prognosis and treatment outcomes in patients with breast cancer

GSE280284 Homo sapiens Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 12 samples 2025/10/24 GPL24676
Summary
In the study, we analyzed six pairs of differentially expressed genes between breast cancer tissues and their corresponding adjacent normal tissues, identifying KIF20A as significantly upregulated in breast cancer. Further functional analyses confirmed that KIF20A is a central regulator within the breast cancer regulatory network. It is involved not only in cell proliferation and migration but may also play a role in the invasion and metastasis of breast cancer. The aberrant expression of KIF20A suggests that it could be a potential target for the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, providing a critical direction for further research.
