Summary
To investigate the interaction between hepatocytes and hepatic stellate cells in iHSOs, we established contact co-culture organoids using iPSC-derived HSCs and hepatocytes; termed iPSC-derived hepatocyte-stellate cell surround organoids (iHSOs). Sorting based on fluorescent labeling (GFP/tdTomato) of the iPSCs used in iHSOs allowed analysis of each cell type. A comprehensive RNA-seq analysis was conducted.
