Summary
This RNA-seq dataset was generated to investigate the cell-type specificity of molecular responses to γ-ray exposure. We analyzed transcriptional profiles of irradiated HEK293T and NHLF cells to compare with brain microvascular endothelial cells and brain cells in a blood-brain barrier (BBB) microphysiological system (MPS). These data support our main study on radiation-induced BBB injury and reveal differential transcriptional responses across cell types.
