Highly efficient generation of functional TCRγδ+ T cells from human embryonic stem cells

GSE301057 Homo sapiens Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 12 samples 2026/02/25 GPL24676
Summary
This dataset presents comprehensive RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) data documenting the dynamic transcriptional landscape during the in vitro differentiation of human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) into functional TCRγδ+ T cells. The study captures stage-specific gene expression patterns across key developmental transitions, including: (1) pluripotent stem cell stage, (2) hematopoietic progenitor specification, (3) T-lineage commitment, and (4) mature TCRγδ+ T cell maturation. The data reveal critical transcription factors governing γδ T cell development (e.g., EGR3, SOX13) and genes related to the proliferation and activation of T cells (e.g.,CD80, CD86, IL7R and IL15RA). Pathway analysis highlights dynamic regulation of WNT signaling,TGF-beta, PI3K-AKT, and cytokine-mediated pathways (IL-17) throughout the differentiation cascade.
