In vivo CRISPR knockout screen reveals Polr1a as a key driver and a potential therapeutic target for melanoma metastasis [RNA-Seq]

GSE302801 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 6 samples Submitted 2026/06/11 Platform GPL24247
Summary
Identification and characterization of novel mechanisms driving melanoma metastases and ways to target them are paramount for the development of effective treatment modalities. We demonstrated that higher Polr1a levels correlate with increased metastasis and reduced survival in patients. In this study, we evaluated the effect of Polr1a knockdown on gene expression in melanoma cells.
