Summary
We performed RNA-seq to compare the epithelial transcriptomic response to GII.3 HuNoV infection to gamma-irradiated inactivated HuNoV (gGII.3) and media controls in parental HIE lines (J2 and J4) and genetically modified HIOs (J2STAT1-KO and J4FUT2-KI), which support enhanced viral replication due to STAT1 knockout and FUT2 knock-in, respectively. HIEs were harvested and analyzed at 24 hours post-infection/treatment.
