Summary
IgSF-CAMs play a key role in secondarly bacterial infection post-influenza. In this data, we reported the VCAM-1 and CEACAM-1, as the members of IgSF-CAMs, were upregulated by PR8 infection in BEAS-2B cells and inhibited by erucic acid treatment. Our data illustrated the effect of erucic acid on inhibiting IgSF-CAMs expression to prevent secondary bacterial infection post-influenza.
