Summary
Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is a common malignant tumor of the head and neck. Early-stage OSCC is mainly treated with surgery; for advanced cases, multidisciplinary treatments including surgery combined with adjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy are the main approaches. In our previous studies, we found through experiments and bioinformatics analysis that ZIC2 is highly expressed in OSCC and is associated with poor prognosis in patients. Subsequently, we constructed stable knockdown control (sh-NC) and experimental (sh-ZIC2) cell lines of ZIC2 using lentivirus, and conducted high throughput sequencing analysis to detect downstream differentially expressed genes, and performed enrichment analysis on the differentially expressed genes to identify related pathways.
