DNA-PKcs-dependent Non-homologous End Joining Repair Contributes to Ferroptosis Inhibition

GSE305143 Homo sapiens Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 6 samples Submitted 2026/08/01 Platform GPL24676
Summary
Iron-dependent ferroptosis, characterized by the accumulation of lethal lipid peroxidation, plays a critical role in various pathological conditions. Given the limited pharmacological options for inhibiting ferroptosis, there is an urgent need to identify novel ferroptosis inhibitors. Natural plant products, with their structural diversity and complexity, represent a promising source for drug discovery.
