Effect of the overexpression of the NOTCH inhibitor ligand DLL3 in low grade astrocytoma cell line LGG275

GSE308910 Homo sapiens Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 14 samples 2026/01/13 GPL29480
Summary
Astrocytoma are known to presents a cellular heterogeneity consisting of three identified subpopulation: "astrocyte-like", "oligodendrocyte-like" and "NPC-like" cells. Among these populations, "astrocyte-like" cells show plasticity and can transit to an "oligodendrocyte-like" state. Activation of NOTCH pathways induce an transition into astrocyte-like state. To investigate the effect of NOTCH inhition on cell plasticity, we overexpressed DLL3, the main ligand inhibitor of NOTCH.
