Summary
The mechanisms by which Myc transcriptionally induces tumour progression is unclear. In an autochthonous mouse model of lung adenocarcinoma driven by oncogenic Kras and deregulated Myc cooperation, we initiated acute activation of Myc exclusively in the tumour epithelial cells to identify the sequence of events and crosstalk in a tumour and its attendent microenvironement in the first week of tumour progression, with a focus on the first 24 hours.
