ChIP-sequencing analysis of Notch1 intracellular domain (NICD1)

GSE313846 Homo sapiens Genome binding/occupancy profiling by high throughput sequencing 4 samples Submitted 2026/01/16 Platform GPL34281
Summary
This dataset presents ChIP-sequencing analysis of the O-glycosylated Notch1 intracellular domain (O-Glc NICD1) to investigate how O-GlcNAc–mediated post-translational modification influences NICD1 chromatin binding profiles. Notch1 activation relies on the translocation of NICD1 into the nucleus, where it functions as a transcriptional regulator. Emerging evidence suggests that O-glycosylation may modulate NICD1 stability, transcriptional activity, or interaction with chromatin-associated cofactors. To elucidate these regulatory mechanisms, we performed ChIP-seq using an antibody specific for Notch1 in MUG-Chor1 upon pro-O-GlcNAcylation treatment, followed by genome-wide mapping of enriched loci.
