Summary
We performed RNA sequencing on proliferative-phase eutopic endometrium from women with endometriosis (n = 4) and without endometriosis (n = 4). Histological dating of endometrial samples was performed by a certified pathologist. Transcriptomic analysis identified 44 differentially expressed genes, including 13 upregulated and 31 downregulated transcripts in women with endometriosis compared with controls, indicating a distinct transcriptional profile associated with endometriosis. This dataset provides a resource for understanding molecular pertubations associated with the disease.
