Transcriptomics Analysis of bulk RNA from HepaRG cells exposed to free fatty acids (oleic and palmitic acid), formoterol, or both

GSE315974 Homo sapiens Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 16 samples 2026/01/15 GPL24676
Summary
To establish the consequences of formoterol treatment, fatty acid overload, and the combination in HepaRG cells, we isolated RNA from cell lysates after three days of treatment. Cells were differentiated for four weeks before treatment: for two weeks they were allowed to reach confluence in normal growth media and then they were further differentiated for the following two weeks by adding 1% DMSO to the media for one media change, and then 2% DMSO for two weeks. Cells were subsequently treated with 30 nM formoterol and/or 0.25 mM palmitic + 0.5 mM oleic acids for three days with fresh treatment each day.
