Characterisation of thyroid 8505 cells treated with CUET (RNA-Seq)

GSE317461 Homo sapiens Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 6 samples Submitted 2026/02/06 Platform GPL16791
Summary
In this study, we examined the impact of copper diethyldithiocarbamate (Cu(DDC)2), a metabolite of the FDA-approved drug disulfiram, on thyroid cancer cells. Mechanistically, Cu(DDC)2 targets valosin containing protein (VCP) – a key regulator of proteostasis – as well as inducing potent transcriptional responses.
