Effect of CST3 knockout on gene expression in THP-1-derived macrophages

GSE318527 Homo sapiens Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 6 samples Submitted 2026/05/03 Platform GPL28038
Summary
To systematically investigate the biological role of CST3 in macrophages, we performed RNA-seq on THP-1-derived macrophages from wildtype (CST3+/+) and CST3 knockout (CST3-/-) backgrounds. Comparative transcriptomic analysis revealed differential expression of genes involved in inflammatory response upon CST3 loss. These findings provide a comprehensive resource for understanding the molecular mechanisms by which CST3 regulates macrophage phenotype and function, with potential implications for inflammatory diseases and immune modulation.
