Summary
Micro(nano)plastics (MNPs) were quantified in left atrial appendage tissue collected intraoperatively from adult cardiac surgery patients at Beijing Anzhen Hospital. Samples were stratified into high (H1–H9) versus low (L1–L9) NP burden groups and profiled by bulk mRNA-seq to identify transcriptional signatures and pathways associated with tissue NP burden.
