Summary
Gulf War Illness (GWI) is a chronic multisymptom disorder associated with prior stress and toxicant exposures. Adult male C57BL/6J mice were exposed to corticosterone (CORT) and diisopropyl fluorophosphate (DFP), followed by repeated intermittent CORT and a later immune challenge with lipopolysaccharide (LPS) or saline. RNA-seq was performed in hippocampus and frontal cortex collected 6 h, 12 h, and 24 h after challenge to define transcriptional responses associated with persistent neuroimmune priming in this mouse model of GWI.
