Identification of differentially expressed genes in cisplatin-resistant and parental esophageal squamous cell carcinoma cells

GSE169337 Homo sapiens Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 8 samples Submitted 2024/03/01 Platform GPL21290
Summary
Drug resistance remains a main obstacle for cancer treatment. To reveal differentially expressed genes in chemoresistant cells, we established two pairs of resistant/parental esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) cell lines, and performed whole transcriptome sequencing to identify both coding and noncoding RNAs that are significantly changed in chemoresistant cells. We identidied several important genes that contribute to the resistance of ESCC cells to chemotherapies.
