PCBP1 regulates transcription by binding ssDNA at promoters

GSE225637 Homo sapiens Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing; Genome binding/occupancy profiling by high throughput sequencing 12 samples 2025/05/01 GPL24676
Summary
To investigate the role of PCBP1 in transcription through its ability to bind DNA, we performed a CRISPR knockout of PCBP1 in A549 lung adenocarcinoma cells and generated a genome wide map of PCBP1's DNA binding using CUT&RUN. We used RNA-seq of A549 WT cells and two A549 PCBP1 KO cell lines we generated to quantify gene expression changes. We used PCBP1 CUT&RUN to generate a map of PCBP1's DNA binding sites.
