IL-4-mediates Pro-Regenerative Cellular Reprogramming in 3D Liver Culture

GSE245659 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 7 samples Submitted 2025/09/26 Platform GPL17021
Summary
This study highlights the proregenerative effects of interleukin-4 in a 3-dimensional liver tissue culture platform. Interleukin-4 supplementation induces a myeloid cell phenotype shift, expands hepatocyte and cholangiocyte progenitors and inhibits fibroblast activation. Our findings open new avenues for cytokine-based therapies to stimulate immune-driven liver regeneration.
