RNA Surveillance by the RNA Helicase MTR4 Determines Volume of Mouse Oocytes [CUT&Tag]

GSE247847 Mus musculus Genome binding/occupancy profiling by high throughput sequencing 4 samples Submitted 2024/09/09 Platform GPL24247
Summary
Exosome is the main RNA surveillance and degradation pathway during oocyte growth. To figure out specific roles of RNA surveillance in oocyte growth, the pathway was destroied by deleting MTR4, the only known RNA helicase in exosome pathway. Accumulation of waste RNAs in nucleus seriously effect chromatin status and establishment of histone modifications like H3K4me3. Thus CUT&Tag experiments targeting at H3K4me3 were performed.
