Summary
The aim was to investigate the transcriptomic alterations that occur in lung mesenchymal cells during compensatory lung growth following unilateral partial pneumonectomy (PNX). The hypothesis is that during lung re-growth, these cells upregulate the alveolar myofibroblast signature that is active during developmental alveologenesis
