Skeletal muscle expression profile changes in early stages of sepsis.

GSE249141 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 15 samples 2025/07/29 GPL28457
Summary
Purpose: RNA sequencing was employed to analyze the alterations in gene expression profiles within the gastrocnemius muscle of mice suffering from early sepsis. Methods: RNA sequencing was conducted on the gastrocnemius muscle of sepsis mice induced by LPS, as well as normal control mice. Results:The gene expression of the gastrocnemius muscle varied between early sepsis mice and normal control mice. Conclusions: Early sepsis mice exhibit significant differential gene expression in the gastrocnemius muscle, providing a promising avenue for early detection and treatment of sepsis-induced myopathy.
