Summary
To determine the transcriptomic (mRNA and microRNA) content present in fresh apheresis platelets and freeze dried platelets (Thrombosomes) we used RNA-Seq approach. The goal was to determine if the freeze drying process maintained the transcriptomic cargo of the fresh platelets.
