Summary
Defective elastin induces aortic smooth muscle cell hyperproliferation. As elastin is expressed from embryonic day 14 in the murine aorta, we utilized bulk RNA-seq to reveal molecular differences between Eln(+/+) and Eln(-/-) aortic smooth muscle cells at embryonic day 15.5.
