Histone Methyltransferase G9a in Primary Sensory Neurons Promotes Inflammatory Pain and Transcription of Trpa1 and Trpv1 via Bivalent Histone Modifications

GSE272517 Mus musculus Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 8 samples Submitted 2025/01/21 Platform GPL24247
Summary
This RNA-seq experiment was aimed to investigate genome-wide differential gene expression by Ehmt2 (G9a) knockout in dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons in mice treated with complete Freund's adjuvant(CFA) or vehicle. Ehmt2 ablation significantly reversed expression of 981 genes in the DRGs and among these genes 322 were downregulated and 659 genes are upregulated (P<0.05).
