Summary
This RNAseq dataset evaluates gene expression to assess the therapeutic potential of trimodulin in a complex mouse model mimicking critically ill CAP patients infected with S. pneumoniae. In addition, we combined trimodulin with ampicillin to address if trimodulin has further added benefit in addition to reducing bacterial burden.
