RNA-sequencing of melanoma celllines compared to normal human melanocytes (NHEMs)

GSE284779 Homo sapiens Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 14 samples 2024/12/20 GPL11154
Summary
Given that melanomas gain different properties during their progression, 6 different melanoma cell lines (Sbcl-2, WM3211, WM793, WM1366, WM1158, WM9) were selected and categorized by tumor stage (primary tumor (PT), metastasis (MET)) as well as the previously described BRAF and PTEN mutation status. Then, differentially expressed genes in malignant melanoma were identified by performing RNA-Sequencing (RNA-seq) with all aforementioned melanoma cell lines and normal human epidermal melanocytes (NHEM).
