Summary
We here show that proteolytic cleavage of the Tie1 receptor evokes a vascular response to inflammatory stimulations such as TNFalpha and LPS. Resisting Tie1 cleavage reprogrammed EC gene networks, rendering them non-responsive to inflammatory stimulations.
