Summary
To assess the commonalities and differences in the transcriptomic reprogramming involved in immunogenic and homeostatic (DC2hm) human cDC2 activation, we conducted a comparison of gene regulation programs between DC2hm and immunogenically activated cDC2s (Generated using TLR-agonist cocktails or LPS+IFN-γ) by RNA-seq and found that though both programs upregulate common DC maturation markers like CCR7, CD80, CD40, and LAMP3, several transcription modules including ISG induction distinguish immunogenically activated cDC2s from DC2hm.
