Human amygdala-like telencephalic organoids from Pluripotent Stem Cells

GSE290316 Homo sapiens Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing 39 samples 2026/06/25 GPL20301GPL24676
Summary
The amygdala, a key region in the limbic system, is central to regulating emotion, memory, stress, and social behaviors. However, studying its functions has been challenging due to the lack of reliable in vitro models. Here, we developed amygdala-like telencephalic organoids (hATOs) from pluripotent stem cells, recapitulating the cellular composition, molecular features, and functional properties of the amygdala.
